Detroit Lakes at Walker-H-A, 7:30 PM | Walker Comm Center
The Lakers travel to Walker to take on the win-less Wolves. Regardless, the Wolves have been the talk of Mitch Hawkers, www.minnhockcom site. I will attach the link to the bottom is this message. The Wolves made the jump to Section 8A three seasons ago and have taken their lumps. I congratulate Coach Ben Brovold for keeping the boys playing hard and improving each game. But more so, for setting the table for future Walker-H-A athletes.

East Grand Forks at Crookston, 7:30 PM | Crookston Civic Arena
The Green Wave, coming off a tough week against the Warroad Warriors and Roseau Rams, find themselves atop the Section 8A standings this week. Congratulations to Coach Cory Chupka for his win over the Warriors one week ago today. And to the athletes of EGF who put together a great game plan and stellar goaltending by sophomore sensation, Hunter Aubol. EGF went 1-1 last week upsetting Warroad at the Civic Center, 2-1, then losing a tough battle versus the Roseau Rams, 3-1, last Saturday night in East Grand Forks.
Kittson-Central at Red Lake Falls, 7:00 PM | Cardin-Hunt Arena
Can Kittson-Central's senior sniper, Craig Lindegard, keep up his torrid pace of goal scoring tonight versus the hot, Red Lake Falls Eagles squad? Lindegard is tied for 2nd place in goal scoring for the state of Minnesota High School Hockey in either class. He trails St. Francis' scoring legend Joey Benik by only by only 9 goals going into this weeks action as the top goal getter in the State of Hockey.
Lake of the Woods at Fort Frances (CA), 7:30PM | Memorial Arena
Never have to worry about this rivalry. Just a quick excursion across the USA/Canada border tonight. This game is bragging rights to the "Battle of the Rainy River" as this is the only match-up this year between border foes. Look for LOW's senior goaltender, Alex Lyons, to keep this one close against the high flying Fort Frances club.
TRF @ Park Rapids, 7:30 PM | Park Rapids Comm Center
This could be the match-up of the night with the visiting Prowlers heading southwest to meet the Panthers. The outcome will have Section 8A seeding rights for the winner. A tough task ahead for the Boys of Park Rapids, facing Zane Gothberg, the #5-ranked Central Scouting list goaltenders of North American in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. But, like seasons past, the Panthers will be buzzing the net to try and enhance their Section 8A seeding considerations.
