Warroad and Roseau both are holding opponents to an average of fewer than 1.5 goals per game. But when they meet tonight with a state tournament berth on the line, the matchup will be one of offense against defense.
The teams play at 7 p.m. in Roseau in the Minnesota Section 8A girls hockey championship. Both are strong in goal, Warroad with Morgan Pieper (1.25 goals-against average, 0.936 save percentage) and Roseau with Chelsey Froseth (1.43 GAA, .909 SP).
