What does this have to do with section 8A?
Just like the Minnesota scores posted on this blog, I felt compelled to include this story.
Why?
Jason Stadstad died of brain cancer last year at the young age of 18 and his story is one of courage, determination and the will the live. He played at Grand Forks Central High and was an incredible young man.
The Grand Forks Herald, the Ralph Engelstad Arena and the communities of Section 8A Hockey want to keep his legacy alive!
As hockey coaches and human beings, we strive to produce future leaders with our athletes. This young man was a role model to everyone around and his sheer dedication to live inspired ones who knew him.
I appreciate your post.
