The Warroad Warriors came out dominating the play, only to give up a goal on the first shift of the night. But that would be the end of any major celebration by the Hibbing hockey club on this night. Bryce Ravndalen put on a tremendous offensive display as he scored four consecutive Warroad goals to lead the Warriors to the 6-2 win over the Bluejackets.
Hibbing scored the first goal of the game just thirty four seconds into the game, after the Warrior started out putting pressure in the Hibbing end of the rink. That lead would hold up until the 9:44 mark of the first period before Bryce Ravndalen scored on rebound shot to tie the game at one. Just over three minutes later, Ravndalen would undress the Hibbing defenseman and beat the Bluejacket net minder high on the short side to give the Warriors their first lead of the game.
