Warriors, Paquin, Shut Out Greenway Raiders

Jared Paquin would stop all 12 shots thrown his way on this night to earn his second Varsity shutout of the season. The Warriors would get goals from five different players to blow past the Raiders 6-0. Jon Hellquist led the way in scoring for the Warriors, tallying two goals.

The Warriors would score in the first period as Bryce Ravendalen, on a hard shot from the slot, beat the Greenway night minder low on the stick side to put Warroad up by one at the end of one period, Mark McDonald assisted on the play. John Hellquist would score his first goal on a nice rebound shot to put the Warriors up by two, with Brett Hebel and McDonald getting the assists. Bucky Storey would then score his first varsity goal on a nice finish, with assists to Michael Pieper and Alex Johnston to put the home team up by three after two periods of play.
